Mid Pines is a delightful Donald Ross-designed course that easily recalls the early days of golf in the 1920s. The Mid Pines Hickory Open often attracts a field of 100 hickory enthusiasts and one of the SoHG’s Championship Series events.
The event includes a practice round and two days of competition, plus a banquet and is the occasion for awarding Championship Series winners from the past year and the SoHG’s annual Mike Brown honoree.
