Hickory Golf News

July 8-10
Bright-Grandview Golf Course
Des Moines, Iowa

The Heart of America is said to be the oldest continuously held hickory tournament in the world. Originated in 1978 by then Golf Collectors Society president and Iowa resident Warren “Ole” Olsen, the players in this long-standing tournament, the 45th this year, are a literal “who’s who” in modern hickory golf and traditions.

The only practice facility at Grandview is a putting green.
