The second iteration of the Lake Sunapee CC Hickory Classic on July 14 in New London. N.H., went very well, with 23 golfers hailing from Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and other New England states.  The course was in buff, beautiful shape. Jeff Blomstedt of Massachusetts and Sam Webster of Annapolis, Md., won with 28 Stableford points. They were followed by David Webster and newcomer Chris Kit Wilson, a retired professor from Middlebury College in Vermont. 

Irene Dionne of Connecticut won the Women’s division and Allen Johnson of Vermont was low Net, followed by Bernie Alessandrini of Florida and Tom Wawrzeniak of Vermont.
