The Mike Fatke Memorial Hickory Tournament honors the memory of Mike Fatke, the long-time grounds superintendent of the Manistee Golf and Country Club. It also serves as a fundraiser for the Save a Buddy Fund that Mike and his wife, Molly, established to provide financial assistance for owners to spay or neuter their pet.
The tournament is a 2-person scramble. Cost $175 per player, $350 per team (plus $25 for social event guests). Register individually or as a team. Individual registrants will be teamed up. Handicaps will be adjusted for those without a hickory handicap. The registration fee includes a tournament gift, Friday Demo Day and practice round, picnic Friday evening, and the 18-hole tournament Saturday. Awards presentation will follow after the Saturday round.

Established in 1901 and located on the shores of Lake Michigan the Manistee Golf and Country Club is one of the oldest and most scenic in Michigan. Hickory golfers will find the traditional layout, which encompasses both links and parkland characteristics, to present an enjoyable and challenging experience and to be particularly suited to hickory play.
