The tenth annual Wyandotte Hickory Organization Classic was held recently with 20 golfers participating in Saturday’s Two-person Scramble and 20 also playing in the Open event on Sunday.
It was a stellar weekend for John Cova of Hazel Park, Mich., as he won the Open Championship with a solid score of 76. He also partnered with Joe Cerri, White Lake, Mich., to win the two-man scramble, shooting a 67.
All the players enjoyed the perfect weather and respected social distancing as much as possible.
Our numbers were down from previous years with the Covid-19Â deterring players from overnight travel. However, there was still a good representative field.
