Join the Golf Heritage Society and the Society of Hickory Golfers for the ninth annual tournament that will feature an Open Division, a Senior Division (age 60-70), a Statesman Division (age 70+), and a Scramble Division. The cost is TBD (last year it was $70), but will cart, range balls, and awards). The course, designed by George O’Neil in 1916, hosted the Western Open in 1935 and annually is the sectional qualifying site for the U.S. Open. Tommy Armour called it “the sweetheart golf course of the Midwest.” A brief awards ceremony will follow play. A cash bar will be available for food and drinks. A modest golf buy/sell/trade show will take place before play.
