The Nebraska Hickory Golf Association scheduled its season opener to coincide with World Hickory Golf Day on May 3. The two-person best-ball competition was held at Elmwood Park in Omaha with both gross and net prizes.
Dale Hallock reports that the weather was superb and the event was sold out. “Thank you to ALL players for making this event a big success,” he said.
Brian Frevert took the low gross title with a 68. Dale Hallock won the net title with a 61.
