Inaugural Korean Hickory Open
September 13 - September 15
Sang Jun Oh, chairman of the Korea Hickory Golfing Society, is very pleased to announce the inaugural Korea Hickory Open Golf Championship, scheduled for Sept. 13-15 at the Dongwon Hillmaru Country Club in Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Day 1: Sunday, Sept. 13
Afternoon: Team Event (Canadian Foursome)
Evening: Welcome Dinner (at a local restaurant near the golf course)
Day 2: Monday, Sept. 14
9 a.m.: Individual Tournament – Round 1
Evening: Gala Dinner & Live Performance (at the golf club restaurant)
Day 3: Tuesday, Sept. 15
8 a.m.: Individual Tournament – Round 2
Afternoon: Luncheon & Awards Ceremony (at the golf club)
Estimated Costs (Per Person, U.S. equivalents are approximate)
1. Golf Fees
Sunday (Team Event): Green Fee 230,000 KRW ($150 U.S.) / Cart Fee 25,000 KRW ($16 U.S.)/ Caddie Fee 40,000 KRW ($26 U.S.)
Weekdays (Individual): Green Fee 170,000 KRW (per day) ($110 U.S.)/ Cart & Caddie fees are the same as Sunday.
Note: All golf, accommodation, and food/beverage expenses are to be paid directly to the golf club.
2. Accommodation
Accommodations for the event are also within the resort.
There are two room options:
2-Bedroom Condo
KRW 160,000 per room ($105 U.S.)
Four single beds (up to four guests)
10 units available
1-Bedroom Condo
KRW 90,000 per room ($59 U.S.)
Two single beds (up to two guests)
15 units available
Single Occupancy Option
If you prefer a private room (one person per room), a 1-bedroom condo is available for KRW 90,000 per person ($59 U.S.).
3. Entry Fee: 150,000 KRW ($98 U.S.)
Includes: Round-trip airport/city limousine shuttle (one time), official tournament souvenirs, prizes, snacks, and refreshments.
Payment: To be paid individually in cash to the Association during on-site registration.
