This is the 7th annual golf tournaments weekend organized by host Mike Stevens and the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club. Three hickory golf outings are planned. Saturday is the Temple Terrace Hickory Hacker, a four-person scramble.

Sunday inaugurates a new event this year, the Mike Stevens Hickory Golf Challenge, a Ryder Cup format with two 16-person teams – one composed of Florida Hickory Golfers and the other team of just about everybody else. It is a 16-player team though, so if you would like to compete against Mike and his buddies from Florida, sign up pretty quick.

The third tournament is the U.S. Professional Hickory Golf Championship, a competition begun by Mike in 2009. Though open to golf professionals, non-professional players may apply for qualification by contacting Mike.

The Saturday evening highlight is a lively social outing called the Knickers Bash, with cocktails and dinner at the TTGCG; followed by a Sunday brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
