Host Ari Flaisher has arranged the 2017 Philadelphia Hickory Open to immediately follow the National Hickory Championship, June 8-10, at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
The host course, McCall Golf & CC, is an untouched William Flynn designed dating back to the early 1920s.  “Measuring 4,500 yards from the tips this is an 18-hole course replete with unbridled fun and interesting challenges for the modern hickory golfer,” Flaisher says.
The tee time is scheduled at 2 p.m. Entry fee is $50 and carts are available for rent.
Format is 18 holes stroke play with pre-1935 equipment and replica balls. All hickory clubs, including modern replicas, are allowed.
