2027 Arizona Desert Hickory

Ken Holtz has announced the 15th annual Arizona Desert Hickory for Feb. 27-28, 2027 at the Grandview and Pebblebrook golf courses in Sun City West, Ariz.
This sunny spot offers the promise of a warm winter respite for hickory golfers of the chilly northern climes. Because of the numbers of winter residents and those who travel to the area, Ken must limit the field to 100 players, so it’s best not to delay your entry. Feb. 1, 2027 is the deadline.

Day One: Grandview Golf Course -14260 W Meeker Blvd, Sun City West, AZ
Day Two: Pebblebook Golf Course – 18836 N 128th Ave. Sun City West, AZ
Practice Round Available: Friday, Feb. 26 (either course)
The Arizona Desert Hickory is a two-day, medal-score format using modern hickory (pre-1935) period and approved equipment.
Tournament Divisions/Awards:
Championship Division: Age 59 and Under, Gross and Net
Senior Division: Age 60 – 69, Gross and Net
Super Senior Division: Age 70-77, Gross & Net
Legends Division: Age 78+, Gross and Net
Ladies Division: Any Age, Gross and Net
“New To Hickory” Men’s Division: Any Age, Gross and Net
If you are new to hickory golf, please come and join in the fun and try the hickory golf experience. Connect with the past and have a blast! Hickory club equipment rentals will be available.
In each division there will be gross and net winners. Awards will be presented for 1st and 2nd places.
