All American and gutty golf are back at Arsenal Island
May 8, 2017 – Rock Island, Ill.

On May 6-7, 25 dedicated hickory players came together to revive the All-American Hickory Open at the Arsenal Country Club in Rock Island, Ill. After nearly three weeks of rain, the weather finally broke for a wonderful weekend of fellowship and gutty golf. It was good to be back on the old course for the first time in nearly three years. Nothing had changed and it was very receptive to the old sticks. It was good to be back at the Arsenal course again.
