Sept. 28-30, 2017
The Old Course at Firewheel
Garland, Texas 

TEXAS HICKORY GOLF will host this inaugural event in the classic style of the hickory game. Golf will be played with hickory shafted clubs (hickory club rentals available), and the period dress of the hickory era is certainly encouraged. Visit tournament sponsor Knicker Dog at www.Knickerdog.com for knickers with socks combinations.

The tournament is a benefit for The Hope Clinic (medical care for families in poverty) and The Garland Sports Hall of Fame (for youth sports).

Thursday, 9/28
Optional practice round. 6-8 p.m. Welcome reception and early registration on the indoor/outdoor patio at The Old Course, cash bar w/provided snacks, trade tables (buy/sell/trade ALL things hickory), and putting tournament. Continued stories, laughs, and fellowship at The Hyatt Place Hotel (tournament hotel) from 8 p.m. to  ???

Friday, 9/29
ROUND 1, tee times begin at 9 a.m. Lunch delivered on course.
6 p.m. – In the banquet hall at The Hyatt Place Hotel – Optional, but encouraged, reception, plated dinner w/cash bar, and trade tables (ALL things hickory).

Saturday, 9/30
ROUND 2, tee times begin at 10 a.m., lunch delivered on course. Immediately following the golf: Trade tables, “Texas” dinner, keynote speaker (Rives McBee – PGA), awards ceremony/presentations.
