This first-ever team hickory event for the Houston area is a benefit for the First Tee of Greater Houston. Host Michael Sloan says the High Meadow Ranch GC has a unique set-up of three six-hole loops. The two-person teams will play a scramble for holes 1-6, best-ball for holes 7-12, and a shamble for holes 13-18.
“It should be a fun outing with no pressure on anyone thanks to the team nature of the event,” he says. “If you have not played with hickory clubs now is your chance. Sign up and join the fun.”
