Hickory Golf News

All hickory golfers are cordially invited to participate in the 2018 Santa Barbara County Hickory Classic, Jan. 27  at the Zaca Creek Golf Course.

Organized as fundraiser for the California Blind and Disabled Golf Program, the event is a two-person scramble to be played by the rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. Play will be with original period hickory clubs. Period attire is encouraged and replica period golf balls will be provided.

There will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start for this 18-hole competition.

The field is limited to the first 20 paid teams. The $85 entry fee per player ($50 if you bring your own clubs) includes green fees, hickory golf clubs, traditional golf balls, beverages, great prizes, and an awards banquet following completion of the tournament.
