Hickory Golf News

May 6-7
Beatrice Country Club
Beatrice, Neb.

The Homesteader is a fun, two-day stroke play hickory golf event played on a very challenging golf course. The original nine was built in 1917 and designed by Tom Bendelow. The new second nine keeps some of the same design as it winds south of the original nine. There are nice reasonably priced motels in Beatrice for the overnight stay.  A practice round will be on Friday, May 5. Contact the Beatrice Country Club PGA pro, Seth Ray, or look for the registration form on-line at: www.beatricecc.com. Or contact Duane Baylor of Golf Collectors Society Region 7 at duane_baylor@cox.net.
