Hickory golf in Kansas received a colorful bit of press courtesy of the Tee Times Golf Guide, a monthly golf magazine for the Kansas City area. The magazine’s lead feature writer Alan Hoskins visited the Kansas City Sunflower Hickory Open hosted by Mike Needleman on April 20 this year. He was impressed by the enthusiasm and the enjoyment he found among the golfers, and certainly with the old sticks employed by the KC Area Hickory Golfers.
