Hickory golfers in Maine are planning an event on Sept. 28.

“We hope to attract a good local turn-out, and of course will welcome any SoHG and Vermont Hickory Golf Association members to the event,” says Forrest Dillon who is organizing the outing.

The original nine-hole course of the Bath Golf Club was designed in 1932 by Wayne Stiles. “It is now an 18-hole championship course, quite walkable and very suitable for hickory clubs,” Dillon says.

Details are still in works, but it be an 18-hole event. We’ll publish registration and other information when available.
