Tournament Information
This annual hickory golf outing, a highlight on the Region 4 Golf Collector’s Society fixture list, is noted for the great Swift Trophy Matches between the USA and Canada, as well as the general good food, fun, and great Texas hospitality.
The Swift Matches are on Thursday, March 24. The 36-hole medal play of the Onion Creek Hickory Classic is over Friday and Saturday. The golf takes place at the Onion Creek Club in Austin, Texas. All players will use hickory-shaft clubs. Equipment will conform to Society of Hickory Golfers guidelines.
This event has now qualified as a Championship Series Points Event, meaning that SoHG members who play in the event can earn points toward the season-long Championship Series medals awarded by the Society, as well as points toward qualifying for the International Hickory Cup team.
