Greg Smith reports on the 2023 Keeper of the Spirit gutty tournament:

“Thank y’all” “as Lynn Just would say, for participating in the 2023 Keeper of the Spirit gutty challenge.

I thought this was a great event with fantastic players. Can’t wait till next year. Speaking of which, 2024 will be the 10th anniversary of the event and I’m planning something special. For one the food will be prepared by the same caterer with a special desert of his own creation.

Congrats to Tom Johnson, our overall winner; to Ernie and Deal in the Open Division; and to Fred, Cal, and George in the Reserve Division.

Special thanks to all the staff at Eagle Springs Golf Resort, who made this one of the best year’s yet. Thanks to Don Madelung for the donuts. Thanks to Cal Whitman for the product for sale and for putting out the flags. Great big thanks to Wally and the crew who picked up the buckets and flags.
