The Vermont Hickory Scotch Foursomes was a great success, reports Tom Wawrzeniak. “Six two-person teams met at the scenic Copley Golf Course on Sunday, July 19, a hot and sunny day,” he writes. “The scores were very close with Matt Dodds and Scott McAllister the overall winners. Runner-up was Greg Paus (new to hickory) and Tom Wawrzeniak. Then the sudden-death play off for the championship was won by Greg and Tom where both teams were on the fringe with the second shot. But then a putt was missed and that was it.”
