The Bon-Air Golfers, established 1896, and reconstituted 1996, as Augusta’s hickory golfing society, will contest its Spring Matches in two forms:

Fitzjohn – using original 19th century (no later than 1905) smooth-faced irons and spliced-neck woods; and actual, original 19th century gutta percha balls, or “The Park” replicas from McIntyre Golf.

Ogilvie – using pre-World War II hickory-shafted irons and woods; and 20th century wound balata balls.

Green fees are $20, lunch is $10. Tee times begin at 10 a.m.
