Hickory Golf News

May 17, 2017, Pickering, Ont., Canada – Originally planned for May 7 to coincide with the Hickory Golf Day in the U.S.A., mother nature didn’t co-operate, so the event was re-scheduled.  Thus, on May 17, an enthusiastic group took part in celebrating hickory golf and honouring Norm Moreau, an original founder of the Golf Historical Society of Canada, at the Cherry Downs Golf Club in Pickering, Ont.

The course was in excellent condition and the winning foursome of Jeff Rogers, Terry Johnston, Eric Reid and Dave Blocksidge produced a 3-under par score. The GHSC anticipates this to be an annual event and looks forward to your participation next year.
