Play it old school!

The Hickory Golf Association will host the Iowa Hickory Classic at Hyperion Field Club. Hyperion is a private club established in 1900 and contracted with Tom Bendelow in 1910 to design the present day course. Don’t have hickory golf clubs? We will have rentals available.

Members of the GCS, the HGA, and the SoHG combine efforts to host the Iowa Hickory Classic, which has a strong charitable component that benefits local groups.

FRIDAY
Limited practice rounds are available. Swap Meet/Trade Show – A reception will be held Friday night, 7-10 p.m. at Hyperion. Dinner with a Scottish theme will be served as part of your registration fee. Cash bar available.

SATURDAY
Luncheon at 11 a.m. followed by a 12:30 p.m. tournament shotgun for OPEN MEDAL (Gross & Net), SENIOR MEDAL (60-69), STATESMAN, (70+), LADIES and SCRAMBLE divisions. Pizza/Salad Buffet after play.

TROPHIES/AWARDS – Recognitions at the club are immediately following golf. In deference to our participants travel arrangements and time constraints, a pizza/salad buffet immediately follows golf during award recognitions.
