The newly formed Kansas City Area Hickory Golfers is pleased to announce its inaugural event, a Two-Person Scramble Match Play format.

Our course is Falcon Lakes, a fun track designed in classic links style. It’s hickory friendly, with gracious zoysia fairways, large undulating greens, and is considered one of Kansas City’s best public golf courses. The friendly staff at Falcon Lakes is offering a top quality practice facility, free range balls, and “real time scoring” on your hand held device, so that you will know exactly how you stand in your match and against the field at any moment during play.

Your two-person team will be assigned to one of two groups similar to the Ryder Cup. This means that no matter how your immediate match turns out, you may still win should your group come out on top at the finish.  This handicapped Match Play format encourages two-person men, women, and mixed couple teams. Newcomers to hickory golf are warmly invited and welcome to participate with chosen partners.

And, of course, all capped off with world famous Kansas City BBQ. Save the date – April 18, 2020.
