Hickory Golf News

Aug. 10-14
Legends Golf and CC
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Where else can you get five days of hickory golf, meals, and merriment at close to 1935 prices! Ron Lyons organizes this annual event and it’s one of the highlights of the North American hickory golf “tour.”

The Canadian Hickory Open Championship is preceded by a two-day hickory road trip that itself has become an eagerly anticipated part of this great week of hickory golf. The Canadian Open follows the road trip and uses all 27 holes of the picturesque Legends G&CC course over three days.

The Schedule (subject to change):

  • Many arrive a few days early or stay a few days afterward to golf at a variety of courses. Early arrivers go on the annual hickory golf road trip on the Monday and Tuesday and participate in the Canadian Open Hickory Championship Wednesday to Friday. Sounds like a great week, eh? All are welcome!
  •  This year’s venues have yet to be decided. Stay tuned!
