The Florida Hickory Golfers recently made a trip to The Villages in Florida, about 50 miles northwest of Orland0. A dedicated retirement community, The Villages famously offers a wealth of recreational and social opportunities for its residents. You may now add hickory golf to the list, not officially, but with this golf outing an introduction has been made.
Mike Stevens, director of the FHG, shared a note that appeared in the community’s online newspaper, The Villages Daily Sun, written by Jeff Shain.
